Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the Skill & Entrepreneurship Development Institute (SEDI). By participating in our training programmes or interacting with our organization, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Organization and Funding

SEDI is a not-for-profit initiative of Ambuja Foundation, funded by companies, other NGOs, and project partners. Our programmes are designed to empower rural youth through skill development, job placement, and entrepreneurship support.

2. Programme Participation and Candidate Contributions

• Participation in SEDI training programmes is open to eligible candidates as per the criteria specified for each programme.
• Candidate contributions depend on the funding structure of the programme. If a programme is fully funded by a project partner, no contribution is required from the candidate. For partially funded programmes, candidates may be asked to contribute a nominal fee.
• Contributions may now be collected online via the EaseBuzz payment gateway or at the SEDI Center, as applicable.
• All online payments are processed securely through EaseBuzz. Candidates are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of payment details and following the instructions provided during the payment process.
• All contributions are used solely for programme delivery and improvement.

3. Registration Process

• SEDI does not collect any candidate information online. All registrations are conducted offline, directly at the SEDI Center located near the candidate's place of participation.
• By registering, candidates agree to provide accurate and complete information as required for programme enrollment and participation.

4. Use of Information

• Candidate data collected during registration (offline or online payment) is securely stored and used only for essential purposes such as assessment, placement, and retention.
• Access to candidate data is restricted to authorized SEDI personnel and is not shared with third parties except as required by law, for payment processing (such as EaseBuzz), or for programme delivery and reporting to funders.

5. Code of Conduct

• Candidates are expected to maintain discipline, respect staff and fellow participants, and adhere to the rules and guidelines of the SEDI Center.
• SEDI reserves the right to take appropriate action, including suspension or termination of participation, in case of misconduct or violation of these terms.

6. Changes to Programmes and Terms

• SEDI reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any programme or these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
• Continued participation in SEDI programmes constitutes acceptance of any changes to these terms.
